"Status of Girls in Wisconsin" report continues to make news across the state

The eye-opening report looks at the challenges facing girls in our state including sexual violence and human trafficking; stress, depression and suicide; bullying; TV, online and social media engagement; and substance use. The report also highlights good news about Wisconsin girls, including declining rates of teen pregnancy and smoking; high school graduation rates; and higher scores in English language arts. Jodi Eastberg, executive director of the Research Center for Women and Girls, has made many media appearances including a half-hour interview on 105.5 WMMM-FM in Madison, a half-hour interview on WHBY in Appleton, a live in-studio interview on NBC 15 in Madison, and an hour-long interview with WORT-FM in Madison. Stories about the report also appeared in The Milwaukee Courier and The Madison Times. It was also covered in The Catholic Herald.
